STPP
INDUSTRIAL GRADE

Dense Powder - Light - Granular
for industrial detergents and ceramics

DESCRIPTION:

The STPP powder is mainly used in the preparation of detergent or ceramic slurry. Molecular structure of STPP is presented in two different forms called phase 1 and phase 2. The rate of composition of the STPP in phase 1 and phase 2 gives various rate of hydration. In general, for each technique of slurry preparation, there is a specific quality of STPP.

For modern installations of detergent, with fast and powerful mixers, the stpp high rate of hydration is recommended. It permits reduction time in the preparation of the slurry, saving energy in the heating and the drying of the slurry and a better quality of detergent powder.

For other installations, the STPP with low or middle rate of hydration is recommended; this prevents the formation of lumps during the slurry preparation, but requires a slower preparation time and an extra energy consumption.

We have more than 38 Different STPP Specifications for detergent and ceramic uses, classified by 03 main categories of STPP Dense Powder, Granular, and light as follows :

STPP Dense Powder:

  • Rapid Hydration
  • Average Hydration
  • Slow Hydration

STPP Granular:

  • Granular Grade 1
  • Granular Grade 2
  • Granulated Hydrated Grade 1
  • Granulated Hydrated Grade 2

STPP Light

The lightweight STPP is typically used in the dry mixing-process.

By its high capacity to absorb liquids and active substances, it allows a better granulated detergent with a relatively low apparent density.

It could be also added in post-addition in the atomisation process to improve the density of the finished product or even to increase the capacity of the installation.
